3rd Annual Toy Run

NOVA Chapter

The 3rd Annual Toy Run was a COMPLETE success thanks to all of you!
We had over 90 bikes, raised $6758.00 in cash, and over $3000.00 in toys.
All the proceeds went directly to the Alice C. Tyler Village in Lignum, VA.

The winner of the 1985 Sportster Ironhead was Charlie Reynolds of Fredericksburg.
The ticket was drawn by Brian Carneal.
Doug and I had the honor of delivering the bike to Charlie the morning of Dec. 2nd.
We had 2 50/50 raffles and the pots were $94.00 each.  We also had over 25 door prizes
that consisted of blankets, Walmart gift card, thermos, hats, t-shirts, and other items.
Someone donated an additional $242.00 to make the proceeds going to the Village and
even $7000.00.  If you were the one who did this please reply to this email.  Everything was
so busy yesterday, Doug couldn't remember the name and we want to make certain we
recognize you.
A very special thank you to our Santa, Frank Venable.  Frank not only was our Toy Ride Santa,
but came to BDL Friday November 30th from 3:00-6:00 for the kids.
We would also like to thank the following individuals, groups, and clubs:

We will be attending the Alice C. Tyler Village Christmas Open House on December 8th
All of you are welcome to join us.  We will meet at the Bloom parking lot across from Lake of the Woods at 9:45am.  We will depart at 10:00am to head over to the Open House that starts at 11:00.  Wade has asked that we arrive by 10:30am
The children from the Village will perform songs, we can tour the group homes, food will be provided, book fair, and more.
If you think you will join us, please respond to this email with your cell number.  This way we can call you if we are ready to leave and you have not arrived.  We can assure this way that we do not leave anyone.  The Village is a little difficult to find, so we fell it is best if we go as a group.  We also advise not coming on your bike, the gravel road is not bike friendly.

"Bike Night in the Burg" will continue through the winter months.  Come join us ever Wednesday 6:30-8:30.
There will be Wednesday night(6:30-8:30 only) specials from now until Christmas!!!!

Christmas layaway is available.  Put those gifts on layaway for 30days with only 20% down.
